Urban  barks










A partir de la imitació de processos de mostreig i anàlisis de diverses ciències naturals com la dendrologia (ciència que estudia els arbres, incloses les seves escorces). El projecte planteja el disseny d’una pseudociència per analitzar un element urbà actual, en perill d'extinció, com són les Columnes Morris més conegudes com a "priulís", els quals emmagatzemen informació sobre la identitat territorial d'on s'ubiquen.
 Based on the imitation of sampling and analysis processes of various natural sciences such as dendrology (science that studies trees, including their barks). The project proposes the design of a pseudoscience to analyze a current urban element, in danger of extinction, such as the Morris Columns better known as "priulís", which store information about the territorial identity of where they are located.

Mostreig Sonor: Enregistrant l'ona sonora d'un cop o microterratrèmol, d'igual magnitud cada vegada i produït per un estri fet per l'ocasió. Entre "pirulís" d'una mateixa espècie es pot arribar a saber el gruix de paper en els diferents punts desitjats sense malmetre l'escorça.

 Non-destructive sampling

Sound Sampling: Recording the sound wave of a blow or microearthquake, from the same magnitude each time, produced by an instrument made for the occasion. Between "pirulís" of the same species, you can get to know the thickness of the paper in the different desired points without damaging the bark.

Aquesta es planteja com una classe introductòria a la respectiva pseudociència, on tant es mostra la recerca realitzada com es posen en pràctica les metodologies aplicades en aquesta.
