(ENG) Since 2011, the Cardedeu Esplai has been located on the upper floor, in the atelier, of the old Tèxtil Rase factory, a building that between 2018 and 2022 the City Council remodeled under the Fàbrica de Cultura project, becoming a series of multipurpose white cubes that have a supposedly "neutral" aesthetic but that in reality practically do not reflect either the factory's past or the identity of the entities that use it disinterestedly, but have instead become a space that is easily 
rentable and capitalizable due to its aesthetic rationality.

However, during this reform, the esplai was not contemplated; it was abandoned. In 2022, when the esplai returned to his space, after not being able to access the premises due to the reform of the rest of the building. The esplai had become an empty, dirty and degraded space (Image 1). This fact led to the emergence of a commission, the Diogenes Commission, naturally within the recreation, to take charge of the aesthetic and practical management of the space. A management that contrasts with the rest of the building. Proposing a construction made by prototypes in constant change and with a non-adult-centrist vision, radically ecological and imperfect that seeks to reflect the history, ideology, and identity of the entity that inhabits it

L'Atelier de Contracultura

Des de l'any 2011 L'esplai de Cardedeu s'ubica al pis superior, a l'atelier, de l'antiga fàbrica Tèxtil Rase, edifici que entre els anys 2018 i 2022 l'Ajuntament va remodelar sota el projecte de Fàbrica de Cultura convertint-se en un seguit de cubs blancs polivalents que tenen una estètica suposadament "neutre" però que en realitat pràcticament no reflecteixen ni el passat de la fàbrica ni la identitat de les entitats que en fan ús de manera desinteressada sinó que s'han convertit en un espai fàcilment llogable i capitalitzable a causa de la seva racionalitat estètica.

Ara bé, durant aquesta reforma, el local de l'esplai no va ser contemplat, va quedar abandonat. L'any 2022, quan l'esplai va tornar-hi, després de no poder accedir al local a causa de la reforma a la resta de l'edifici. El local s'havia convertit en un espai pràcticament buit, brut i molt degradat (Imatge 1). Fet que va portar que de manera natural dins l'esplai anés sorgint una comissió, la Comissió Diògenes, per encarregar-se de la gestió estètica i pràctica de l'espai.  Una gestió que contrasta amb la resta de l'edifici. Proposant una construcció mitjançant prototips o "apanyos" en constant canvi i amb una visió no adultocentrista, radicalment ecològica i imperfecte que busca reflectir la història, la ideologia i la identitat de l'entitat que hi habita.
